Get an extra boost for your workouts with Gluten Free Protein Pancakes.
These Gluten Free Protein Pancakes don’t take very long to make and by using oats as a substitute for flour are much more filling that ordinary pancakes. Perfect for a pre-workout breakfast or for a protein packed pancake day!
If you’re eating healthy and working hard at the gym, sometimes it’s hard to get enough protein in your diet. And you don’t always want egg white omelettes for breakfast! But if you combine your morning oats with a protein powder shake, you’ll be able to get a delicious breakfast with a big protein boost. They’re tasty, too.
These Gluten Free Protein Pancakes are fluffy, American-style – best served in a stack, and kept warm in the oven/under the grill until they’re all ready to serve. Spoon them into the pan with a ladle or a large spoon, roughly the size of a large coaster or small saucer, for the ideal cooking size.
They don’t take long to cook – once they start to bubble, they’re just about ready to flip over – and you won’t need more than a minute on each side. They’re really very easy to make, just keep an eye on them while they’re cooking to make sure they don’t catch and burn!
